RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

In Energy Sectors Innovation and technology are vital to providing a wider, more sustainable mix of energy resources for the world’s growing fastest population. Scientists, Researchers and Engineers around the globe are working to improve the Energy Efficiency emerging technologies for the transition to a low-carbon energy future.

Our Research and Development facilitation for Engineers in universities and laboratories, private sector for technology up-gradation from Department of Science and Technology government of Karnataka for innovation support to Clean Energy developments  in areas such as natural gas, Bio-fuels, solar power, water treatment, CO2 management and energy efficiency management deployment in the energy sector helps spark new ideas and accelerates for startups to advanced fuels for improving Energy Intensity Sectors.

We Providing National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories(NABL) accredited Instruments  analyzing present energy consumption, carrying out equipment performance, evaluating tariff provisions and comparing them with their respective benchmark values to identify energy conservation opportunities. Energy cost saving calculations is carried out for all the identified energy saving measures and most optimal measures are recommended for implementation. Based on the saving potential, investment required and ease of implementation, various energy saving measures are prioritized for implementation. After project implementation, proper monitoring is needed to be carried out to ensure the savings. In order to achieve the above objectives, the assigned teams of consulting engineers were deployed to carry out the required observations, tests and checks at site. It included data collection, power measurement of different electrical equipment, measurements and site observations etc. In order to make the audit systematic and methodical, based on scope of work, detail formats for recording measurements has been developed and used during the audit. Prepare an annual activity plan and present to management concerning financially attractive investments to reduce energy costs.

Find out the commercially viable and implementable scheme for improvement in Energy efficiency. Develop energy use indices to compare performance/ productivity and introduce energy use monitoring procedures.

⦁    Collections of data on operational parameters, energy consumption both normal and electrical through a questionnaire.
⦁    Study the existing plant capacities and their performance to assess plant operations.
⦁    Study of the energy consumption patterns.
⦁    Study of the power sources, distribution system and drive controls, load factor and efficiency of large motors, process automations, plant illuminations etc.
⦁    Collection of requisite data and analysis and identification of specific areas with potential for conservation of thermal and electrical energy.
⦁    Discussion with specific recommendations along with broad system concept for conservation of energy.
⦁    Preparation of capital cost estimates and establishing techno-economic feasibility for recommended measures.
⦁    No investment and/or marginal investment by doing system improvements and optimization of operations.
⦁    Major investment due to incorporation of modern energy intensive equipment and up gradation of existing equipment.
⦁    Formulating tentative time schedule for implementation of the recommendation.
⦁    Undertaking broad cost benefit analysis in terms of savings in energy consumption per unit of production and pay-back period.
